Building Change
PRO International is one of the three founding organizations of Building Change. Since 2014, we have been working together with Partos and Woord en Daad on a single question: Does Dutch policy advance sustainable development, both in the Netherlands and around the world? The UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) serve as our starting point. The Netherlands has endorsed these goals, and we want the government to implement them in a fair and ambitious manner.

Africa Day
For more than 30 years, Africa Day has been the premier event that brings Africa to the Netherlands. Every year, around 1,000 visitors, speakers, and volunteers, along with approximately 40 partner organizations, come to Amsterdam. Through this event, we aim to provide a platform for African voices and to bring citizens, politicians, and NGOs together to discuss a new partnership between Africa and Europe based on equality.

EU-Africa Youth Think Tank
In the EU-Africa Youth Think Tank, young people spend five months working on real-world policy issues related to Dutch/EU-Africa relations. They conduct research, talk with policymakers, experts, and African peers, and draft their own policy recommendations. They then present these recommendations to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
